Weddings at Gosford Hall – located just a few miles out of Braintree and close to the M11 – is one of the most popular wedding venues in England. Built back in 1545, Gosfield has quite a history, having hosted Royal visits by Queen Elizabeth 1 throughout the middle of the 16th Century. Although remodelled during the 18th Century, the magnificent interiors and elegant historic facades of the Hall remain to this day. With Queen Charlotte’s oak panelled gallery with its 120ft long aisle ideal for use as the entrance to your ceremony, it is no surprise that Gosfield Hall is much sought after as a wedding venue.
